Abstract

This research work addresses the theoretical and methodological foundations that support environmental education in preschool children. In previous research, several inadequacies in the process of environmental education in the preschool grade have been recognized, which is confirmed in the pedagogical practice of the researcher. During the research process, different methods were used, such as the analysis and critique of sources, hermeneutics, the systemic approach, observation, interview, survey and statistical-mathematical elements, which allowed the development of the research. The contribution of the work is the proposal of activities to favor environmental education in children of the sixth year of life of the Luis Saiz Monte De Oca School Center.
