Business Intelligence for Competitiveness in Micro-enterprises in the State of Mexico 15 10

Abstract

In a highly competitive and dynamic environment, microenterprises in the State of Mexico face significant challenges in strengthening their competitiveness and sustaining growth. Business Intelligence (BI) is positioned as a strategy that enables the transformation of data into useful knowledge for decision-making. This paper analyzes how the adoption of accessible Business Intelligence practices can optimize key processes such as sales control, inventory management, and customer behavior analysis within the context of the State of Mexico. It also examines the main barriers to adoption, including limited technological training and resistance to change, proposing practical strategies for gradual integration. It is concluded that Business Intelligence represents a strategic opportunity to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of microenterprises in this region.
